This blend contains essential oils that may include known allergens such as piperine, sabinene, zingerone, and gingerol. These compounds can cause allergic reactions in sensitive individuals, particularly those with allergies to spices or plants in the same botanical family. Though present in low concentrations, we recommend a patch test if you have sensitive skin.
Piperine may influence the metabolism of certain medications processed by the liver, potentially altering their effectiveness. Zingerone and gingerol can interact with blood thinning medications like warfarin, increasing the risk of bleeding. Additionally, sabinene may have a mild diuretic effect, which could impact medications for blood pressure or kidney function.
