Fontis Skinfood reserves the right to change the terms or conditions or any part thereof at it’s own discretion.
What the term ‘Natural and Organic”” means to Fontis Skinfood
Butters and Seed oils:
This means that the ingredients keep their original chemical shape and structure. The physical shape has changed i.e. cold pressing.
Beeswax:
We use the same beeswax that beekeepers use in their hives.
Essential Oils:
We use high quality essential oils originating from certified botanical plants that are 100% pure, 100% natural, 100% unaltered, 100% integral and GC/MS tested. Only 5% of essential oils globally match these criteria
Soap:
The nature of soap making means that chemicals are used.
Preservatives:
When water is introduced into a formulation a preservative must be introduced for your safety. We focus on using natural preservatives in our products i.e. soaps. Natural preservatives can be as follows:
Natural Ingredients: This means that the ingredients keep their original chemical shape and structure. The physical shape has changed.
Naturally Derived: The ingredient has undergone a chemical reaction i.e. fermentation, hydrolysis. Functional ingredient that makes your product feel the way it does.
Nature Identical: It is identical in chemical structure than the original natural ingredient, but it is not derived from nature.
Synthetic Molecules: Using natural ingredients to mimic an synthetic molecule.
Purchase Related Policies and Procedures
You will receive a notification from us as soon as possible to acknowledge your order. We will supply you with an order number as well.
If the product/s is out of stock we will contact you via the e-mail address you provided or telephone. Your order will be filled as soon as the item is back in stock. If for some reason beyond our control the item is not in stock within 7 (seven) working days we will contact you via e-mail and refund you using EFT.
Once you accept the order online you have entered into a legally binding sales agreement.
We accept payments via EFT and credit card. Payment will go through once you accept the order.
Once your payment is received and cleared in our bank account (it usually takes 48 hours), your order will be shipped to you. Please note: We ship Mondays to Wednesdays as we don’t want your product stuck with the couriers over a weekend. We don’t know the conditions under which it is stored and we don’t want your products to be damaged.
Your credit card payment will be validated and authorized by your cardholder. It is important that the address you provide us is the same as the one your cardholder has. If your cardholder delays the process for any reason Fontis Skinfood cannot be held responsible for the subsequent delay or non delivery of your order.
Ownership
The products you ordered remains the property of Fontis Skinfood (Pty) Ltd until it is fully paid for. If you return an item then the ownership of that product is transferred back to us.
If you have paid for a product/s we reserve the right not to supply you with the product you ordered (we will refund you via EFT), refuse service, terminate your account, remove or edit content at our sole discretion.
Cancellation of Order
According to regulations you have the right to cancel your order within 7 (seven) working days after receipt if you send us a cancellation order in writing to notify us of the cancellation and if you return the goods in the original packaging unopened, unused and not damaged.

Returns
It is a huge pleasure to us if you are happy with your product. Sometimes it is just difficult to make up your mind. We know, so in the unlikely event you are not satisfied with your purchase or you simply do not want it we are more than happy to refund you.
We accept returns within 7 (seven) working days after the package was delivered to you. Please send an e-mail to info@fontisskin.co.za with your full details, order number and the product you are returning. We will issue you with authorization number. The product will be picked up by our courier at no cost to you and we will arrange that return within 48 hours after sending an authorisation number to you. The product must be in the original packaging. Reasonable use for a 7 day period is allowed, however less than 3/4 full container will not be refunded.
You will be refunded or the product will be replaced or exchanged once we have received the product and inspected it. If the product is in the original packaging and more than a 3/4 full (container) we will refund you the amount you paid via EFT.
Products and Services for Personal Use
The products that you purchase on this website is for your personal use and you do not have our permission to resell the product to a third party. You will be held liable and accountable if you sell items you purchased on this site to a third party.
Shipping
Your product will be sent to a street address via a courier. It is important that you give us your daytime address including your street postal code.
If you or anyone else who can receive the package on your behalf is not at the address supplied the courier company will contact you to arrange an alternative time and or date. A package is deemed delivered to you when signed for by a yourself or any other person at the address specified on your order.
Please Note: We ship Mondays to Wednesdays as we don’t want your product stuck with the couriers over a weekend. We don’t know the conditions under which it is stored and we don’t want your products to be damaged.
Items will only be sent via the Post Office when a special prior arrangement was agreed to.
Inspection of Package
You should inspect the package to make sure that what is specified on the delivery note is included in the package. You will be deemed to have accepted the order unless you notify us according to our returns policy if there is a problem. If you fail to take action we will not be obligated to accept your rejection of the order or any single item at a later date.
Accuracy of Information
Whilst we do our best to supply you with accurate information we do not guarantee the accuracy, completeness or availability of the information on the website.
Intellectual Properties
Your Obligations and Responsibilities
It is your responsibility to read the precautions related to the products (on the website) before placing an order. Once you have placed your order we accept that you have read the precautions and you understand them. Fontis Skinfood (Pty) Ltd or any of its employees will be held responsible for any loss or damage suffered.
It is your obligation and responsibility to store the products away from heat and light and to ensure every effort is made to use clean hands when using the product and applying it to your face.

Special Offers and Coupons
Fontis Skinfood reserves the right to cancel promotions at any time.
Coupons/Vouchers must be used while they are valid and cannot be redeemed for cash. The coupon/voucher may only be redeemed against the product/s noted on the coupon/voucher. Lost coupons/vouchers will not be replaced.
Disputes
In the event of a dispute we will endeavor to resolve it with the party rising the dispute. Failure to do so will escalate it to the level of resolving it with the help of a mediator as appointed by Fontis Skinfood within 10 days of failure to resolve the dispute. If negotiations fail then an arbitrator will be appointed. The place of arbitration will be in Pretoria, South Africa and the decision of the arbitrator will be final and binding on both parties. One arbitrator as agreed upon by both parties will be appointed. Failing to appoint an arbitrator within 10 (ten) business days the Secretariat of AFSA will appoint the arbitrator.
This will not stop any party to turn to the courts for interim relief while the dispute is being settled.
- The validity, interpretation, construction and performance of this Agreement, and all acts and transactions pursuant hereto and the rights and obligations of the parties hereto shall be governed, construed and interpreted in accordance with the laws of South Africa, without giving effect to principles of conflicts of law. Each of the parties hereto consents to the exclusive jurisdiction and venue of the courts of Pretoria, South Africa.
No Warranties
This website is provided “as is” without any representations or warranties, express or implied. Fontis Skinfood (Pty) Ltd (hereinafter referred to as Fontis Skinfood) makes no representations or warranties in relation to this website or the information and materials provided on this website.
Without prejudice to the generality of the foregoing paragraph, Fontis Skinfood does not warrant that:
